What is the NoisePad?

The NoisePad is a sound generation (noise) tool based on original samples and sources from La Boucle Records tiktok videos.

How does it work?

Clicking on a pad launches the associated audio, and loads the control panel. On this panel you can customize and process the sound by adding filters, effects and distortion.

What is the difference between Play mode and Edit mode?

Play mode simply allows you to play a pad by clicking on it. In edit mode, when you click on a pad, only the pad's control panel loads and no play is initiated.

Edit mode is useful when you want to add/remove settings on a pad before starting playback or when you want to modify a pad while others are playing.

How to play a pad in a loop

To play a pad in a loop, simply load the pad's control panel and click on "Loop pad". When playing, the pad is now blue. Note: There are still some bugs when playing in a loop. It is necessary to start playback twice for the pad to play infinitely.

Can I record the sounds of the NoisePad?

You can record the noisepad sounds using your computer's audio. To do this, you will need software like Audacity that can record the audio that comes through your internal or external sound card.

Can I use the sounds produced with the NoisePad?

The sounds produced by the NoisePad are free to use, under the creative common license CC BY. You are free to share, exploit, rework the generated sounds, and you must give proper credit to La Boucle Records by embedding the url of the NoisePad page (https://labouclerecords.com/noisepad).
